Relevé Dance Center is a dance studio in Bangor, ME. Thank you for joining the Relevé Dance Center family. We look forward to a wonderful season! Please read this policy with your dancer(s).
Classroom Policy
1. Please be on time for class. There is a greater risk of injury without the proper warm-up. Dancers will be required to sit out for the remainder of the class if they miss warm-up.
2. Do not talk to your friends during class. It is distracting to others who are trying to learn.
3. ONLY WATER is allowed in the dance studio.
4. Outside street shoes are NOT to be worn in the dance studio. If you are wearing sneakers for hip hop, please have a special pair just for dance.
5. Parents and siblings are not allowed to be in any class or rehearsal with the exception of "Parent Observation Week".
6. NO CELL PHONES ALLOWED in the classroom.
7. All students must come dressed according to the dress code.
8. Hair must be worn in a bun, ponytail, or braid. Please refer to the dress code for hair requirements for class. When in doubt, wear a bun!
9. To avoid lost dance wear, please label all of your dance shoes and dance clothes.
10. BE RESPECTFUL of your peers and your teachers.
Tuition Policy
1. Tuition is due the 1st of every month.
2. Tuition fees, costume payments, camp deposits, workshop payments, and registration fees are all NON REFUNDABLE.
3. If your child is not going to participate in the spring recital, you must notify RDC staff by December 31st. Failure to do so will result in charging your account for the recital costume for the class(es).
4. There will be NO REFUNDS for missed dance classes. If your child misses a dance class they can make up that class by attending another class of the same level. This includes any missed classes due to inclement weather.
Other Items
1. Inclement Weather - We will decide 1.5 hours prior to the first class of the day if classes will be held or cancelled. We will post on the studio Facebook page and will send out an email.
2. The staff at RDC want to answer and address all questions and concerns parents may have. Please call or email the studio to speak with Sarah or Susan. Teachers DO NOT have time before, during, and after to speak with parents.
Parent's Agreement:
By signing this agreement, I acknowledge that I have read the studio policy, the tuition policy and the dress code policy and I fully understand and agree to them. I agree to support my child in her/his dance classes and activities at Relevé Dance Center. I will respect the teachers, staff and other dancers. If I have a concern I will speak to RDC Staff and not to other parents. I will conduct myself with dignity when representing Relevé Dance Center.

By signing this agreement, I agree to the studio rules and dress code. I agree to always try my best in my dance classes. I understand that my teachers' corrections are meant to help me be the best dancer I can be. I agree to not gossip about other dancers or talk behind their backs. If I have a concern I will talk to my dance teacher and not other dancers. I will always conduct myself with dignity when representing Relevé Dance Center.
